Pecan Lighting is a joint venture between Street and Park Furniture and Pecan Engineering and has been involved in the manufacture of renewable energy products including solar powered lighting since the 1980's.

The founder of Pecan Engineering, Peter Canon has always been interested in renewable energy and was the first to run a solar powered car from Darwin to Adelaide.

Pecan Lighting design and manufacture outdoor solar lighting for developments, streetscapes, parks and minor roads, and deliver world-wide. Pecan are also the Australian distributors for the Satellite Series Luminaire by Canadian based LED lighting company LRL (Led Roadway Lighting LTD), this is not just an exciting development for solar lighting but LED Street Lighting as well.
